Remote Worship Support

On site Saturday workshop

Train your volunteer sound team in a single Saturday.

Four hours of hands on audio training delivered at your church, for your team, on the equipment they actually run Sunday morning. Lunch is on us.

Why a workshop

Most volunteers learn on Sunday morning. A workshop changes that.

Most volunteer sound operators learn on Sunday morning, in front of the whole congregation, with no second take. A Saturday workshop changes that. We come to you, we work with the actual people who run your sound, and we cover the foundations they need to mix with confidence. By Sunday they have the same console, the same room, and the same band, but they understand what they are doing differently.

The day

What a Saturday looks like.

  1. 9:00

    Doors

Coffee, hellos, get everyone sound checked.

  2. 9:30 to 11:30

    Morning session

The foundations: gain structure, signal flow, EQ basics, monitor mixes 101.

  3. 11:30 to 12:30

    Lunch

Catered, on us. The conversation continues.

  4. 12:30 to 2:30

    Afternoon session

Sunday morning in practice: speech intelligibility, band mix, feedback, scenes, troubleshooting, Q and A.

What we cover

Foundations in the morning. Practice in the afternoon.

Morning, the foundations

  • Gain structure

The thing most volunteers get wrong and never get told about.

  • Signal flow on a digital console

What the channel strip actually does, in order.

  • EQ basics, high pass filters

What to cut versus boost. Where the trouble usually hides.

  • Monitor mixes 101

Wedges and in ear monitors, without the wars.

Afternoon, Sunday morning in practice

  • Mixing for speech intelligibility

Sermons sound different than music. Mix them that way.

  • Building a worship band mix from the ground up

Drums, bass, keys, guitars, vocals, in that order, every time.

  • Managing feedback before it happens

Hearing it coming. Catching it before the room does.

  • Scene and snapshot strategy

What to save, what to leave dynamic, what to recall on Sunday.

  • A troubleshooting checklist

Print it. Tape it to the side of the console. Use it.

  • Open Q and A and one room specific issue

We tune one real problem in your room before we leave.

Two equipment options

Pick the setup that fits your team. We work with both.

Option A: Your console

Your volunteers learn on the exact mixer they will run Sunday morning. We save a working scene at the end of the day that they can recall the next week.

  • Best for churches with a digital console already in place
  • Hands on the board your team actually uses
  • End of day scene saved for Sunday

$895 flat rate

Option B: We bring a console

We bring a Behringer X32 rack and a small set of test inputs so people can put hands on a working board. Useful for analog consoles, or when the focus is concepts over your specific room.

  • Good for churches running an analog console
  • Good when the Sunday console is not available for training
  • Good when you want concept training, not troubleshooting

$1,195 flat rate

What's included

In every workshop, regardless of option.

  • Four hours of live instruction
  • Lunch catered for up to twelve attendees
  • A printed quick reference handout for each person (gain staging chart, EQ cheat sheet, troubleshooting flowchart)
  • One end of day saved scene on your console (Option A only)
  • A brief written follow up to the worship pastor or tech director within 48 hours

Pricing

  • Subscription bundle: Churches that sign onto a Track A subscription within 30 days of attending a workshop receive $200 credit toward their first three months.

What this is and isn't

A few things to be clear about.

  • Not a conference. One church, your team, your room.
  • Not a sales pitch. We are there to teach, not to upsell.
  • Not a 90 minute lunch and learn. Four hours, hands on, real work.
  • Not optional homework. Everyone leaves with something they can use Sunday.

FAQ

Common questions about the workshop.

How many people should we bring?
Three to twelve works best. We cap at twenty. Beyond that, the hands on value drops.
What if our console is older or analog?
Pick Option B. We bring a comparable digital mixer and teach the concepts that translate.
Do we need to prep anything?
A working sound system, power, internet, and a list of the specific frustrations you want us to address. We will send a one page prep sheet a week before.
Can we record the session for our archive?
Yes. We will help you set up a clean audio and video record so future volunteers can review it.
Do you travel internationally?
No, not yet. United States only at this stage.
What if we want to do this again next year?
Many churches do. Repeat workshops are billed at a 15% discount.
